Outaouais Rural Women’s Resource Centre This Francommunautés Virtuelles (Industry Canada and Status of Women Canada) project works with regional agencies and groups to provide employability resources and learning opportunities for francophone women. It has recently partnered with QuikSkills and CareerStation to focus on impriving training resource, as well as on-line and face-to-face employability and entrepreneurship programming.

Coop Source Internet: Founded first wireless Internet Cooperative in Quebec.

C2C Learning Network: Developed XML-based CMS allowing our client to leverage its communications resources.

Source Internet Broadband Business Plan: Obtained and developed Industry Canada-funded broadband network Business Plan, and led community effort to:

• Aggregate services and demand so technology integrators could leverage Industry Canada’s BRAND program incentives to build high-speed infrastructure access and network facilities;
• Work with local communities and stakeholders to leverage community-based broadband infrastructure by owning and operating its strategic components.

O-Zone (Outaouais Youth Portal): Development pilot was our first two-way, participant-driven web portal under development for and by Outaouais youth. O-Zone was a working partnership of Réseau Internet Source Collines – Resort to Work – HRDC­ Gatineau and funded by HRDC – Office of Learning Technologies.

The Quebec Learners Network: Worked between 1999 and 2002 with this on-line community learning network initiative to help developed a human resources, technology, and information-sharing network in the Outaouais; video CD production highlighting key e-learning projects and tools.

The Historical Legacy of the Gatineau River: Conceived and developed Digital Collections project in collaboration with the Historical Society of the Gatineau.

Site Les Voix de la Vallée de la Gatineau – Echo du passé: Worked with several groups, including the Museum of Civilization, to produce a unique francophone version.

Municipality of La Pêche: Site showing off sites, amenities and attractions, plus information for citizens.

Gatineau Memorial Hospital Multimedia CD: Virtual tour of the Hospital, CLSCs, Doctor’s Residence and attractions of Wakefield to help recruit new medical staff.
